“Winning streaks� and “losing streaks� have long been a part of gambling and sports folklore, but do such things really exist in video poker?
The fact of the matter is that they don’t, and the presence of a Random Number generator or RNG is there to make sure of that.
The primary function of RNGs is to ensure the fairness and impartiality of video poker by continually shuffling the cards in the deck until the deal button is hit. It is a totally random process, with no human intervention that can affect the results whatsoever. It is the RNG in fact that allows video poker machines to operate legally.
